And we make sure we fill up in Ontario before we enter Quebec!! We actually got quite the deal last time... we ended up filling up with premium for the price of regular because the gas station had run out of regular!!

Here in Dry Ridge, it was $3.19/gal. for regular, the day before the election. The day after the election, it went up to $3.59/gal. and has not come down since then.

Our diesel was $2.89 gal., the day before the election. Now, it is $3.29/gal.

When I see other areas of KY that are $3.29/gal, I really see red. There should not be that big a difference within the same state!

The last time I filled up was on 11/16 and it was $2.95/gal for regular at the Bristol, TN WalMart.

See, that is what I don't understand.
A friend of mine lives close to you and just paid 3.40 something up there, while my gas (close to Louisville) has been at 3.05 for days.

It was about $4.65 here (if I've done the math correctly). I live ten minutes from the Quebec border and am always shocked at the the difference in price.
It always makes me roll my eyes just a little (as not to offend anyone) when folks in the US complain about the price of gas- I suppose it's what you're used to though. It (and the price in Canada) does seem awfully cheap when compared to places like Europe and NZ!

Just inside the SC line, I pay about $3.08. Couple miles up the road into NC, it's closer to $3.38.

$3.35 on the Indian reservation, $3.50 in town, and add a dime or so to that for in the city of Seattle.

$3.49 to $3.79 in the Sacramento area. That's unleaded economy, not sure what premium or diesel is going for.
