Did anyone see what Justin Beiber wore to receive his Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal? Overalls, held up by one strap, a T shirt, and his hat on backwards? Really???? And he received it from the Prime Minister dressed like that? What is wrong with this kid?
When my mother received her medal, the letter she received informing her that she was being honoured clearly stated 'business attire'. Could he not have shown a bit more respect to Queen and country? Are there no responsible adults directing this boy?

He showed no respect at all for the honour he was being given, nor the person he was receiving it from. I thought he was supposed to be the epitome of the clean-cut boy next door? Not a good example at all.
You would think there would be a dress code. ... I cannot stand the kid and I am so glad I don't have kids that would be young enough to love him. What an insult! I would have told him to go and dressed if he wanted the medal (which I really do not think he deserved!)
I didn't see it - but agree with all of you. But these kids are 'managed', or 'micro-managed' and he is only, what, 18 years old. Famous for very little, really. Apart from driving a white Ferrari too fast, has he set up any really effective foundation, done his bit anywhere?

I'm actually disappointed in him. I'm no fan (and my 9 year old son is horrified by him) but I did actually think he was a pretty clean cut boy handling fame well. But, yes, I think this was incredibly disrespectful.

I think Bieber is actually kind of a jerk. I was torn between laughing and turning the TV off when he dedicated his first AMA this past week to "his haters". Also, his pants were around his knees. HIS KNEES.
Not only is the kid annoying, he's beyond disrespectful.
