Give Me One Reason, by Tracy Chapman. I don't know why I hate that song so much. I detest it. It makes me twitch. I immediately turn off the radio when it comes on and say a few dirty words. Yuck.

Hmmmmmmm, most of my hated songs have been named, and I also hate Taylor Swift and any other artist who has computer corrected voice and that covers most artists from 2000 on....BLECH. I still maintain the last distinctive female voice was Shania Twain and male voices are not much better.

The cake in the rain song is MacArthur Park, a bit odd but it was considered rather groundbreaking for some reason

Agree 100%! I wish there was an element to my virus protection that would immediately eliminate any images or references to Taylor Swift on my computer at all times. She CANNOT sing! She is the result of a super marketing machine...a packaged Barbie with a Mr. Microphone.
I also hate "Firework" because she screeches the entire song.
How is this for annoying...that country song by John Anderson from way back.."Just A Swinging". Now get that out of your heads!

I tend to take my own form of petty revenge on songs that bug me by substituting unflattering or inappropriate words in the lyrics. I do this in my head if I'm in public and out loud when I'm alone or with my best friend, who particularly appreciates this kind of creativity.

That said, the annoying song "Celebration" is by Kool and the Gang, and guess which inappropriate rhyming word I use with that one?

I can't remember the title of the song by Hootie and The Blowfish, but I change the refrain. "I only wanna be with you-ou-ou" becomes "I only have a 3-inch too-oo-ool".

I love how this became a Taylor Swift hate-on I actually kinda like most of her songs in an undemanding lalalala way, but am distracted by her looks - yes, I know, she's blond and skinny and young and has a giant bang, but seriously, she's a little odd-looking. Not a pretty girl. Not an insult, because all girls aren't pretty and being a funny-looking singer is no crime. But her features are just off.

Most hated song? John Lennon's Imagine. Even the pacifists deserve a better anthem than that turgid piece of self-congratulation.

LOL both those are in Madagascar 3..... I have had to watch it 654 times in the last week since we've all had the flu. My aunt took pity on me and dropped off Madagascar 1 and 2 today so now we are on to those.

Anything generic and meaningless. Firework IS so generic its stupid, like, no point to it. I also hate anything by Foster the People, they sound like they are talking through bull horns in a gym.

I ran a 10K Turkey Trot this morning, and since this particular run was resurrected after being dormant since the 1980s, they had an 80s theme. Complete with 80s music.

It won't hurt my feelings if I don't EVER have to hear "Mickey" by Toni Basil ever again.
