Question Do I have to use tack soap on boots?

I've let my schooling boots get really gross and I would like to clean them before my lesson tomorrow, but I don't have any saddle/leather soap.
Are there any other kinds of soap I can use or should I just wait until I can get to the tack store? Thanks

Perhaps Murphy's Oil soap, leather care wipes, or leather cleaner(like for cars), and maybe diluted dawn dish soap.
Strange how much you've got to know Before you know how little you know. Anonymous
