Yes, that Quaterback/Stedinger can trot a bit, can't he? And canter looked good, but he just doesn't seem to be able to stay in it - much prefers to trot! But a nice looking horse, for sure!

I definitely want to see him cantering under saddle. I just sort of think there wasn't enough room or motivation for him to canter without just boinging around.

Argh! Too many people watching now. Causing the video to stutter so much that seeing quality of gaits is getting difficult.

Dang, I missed hearing which of that last group was licensed. Did #54 make it?

Yeah, I am having a bit of trouble keeping up with it now.

Displaying my ignorance for all to see, but I must ask. Why do these horses not have names?

For the most part in Germany, a horse doesn't get a name until it is approved for breeding or sold as a riding horse.

It gives the buyer the chance to name the horse.

OK, so there were actually 5 chestnut colts - I forgot about the liver chestnut Benetton Dream. And of the 5, he was the only one they didn't license!

And one of the chestnut colts was named Premium - the Vivaldi / Donnerhall!

Thanks again, Emy! I was jotting down gekört/nicht gekört, along with premium designations, while watching the live stream yesterday. I wrote "Siegerhengst" on #50 - so cool the Körkommission agreed with me!

And the CHESTNUT Vivaldi colt was the 1c premium for the OL stallions!

Sorry, but Oldenburg is not a BREED at all. It's a registry that accepts horses from tons of other registries - all of which have many, many chestnuts. The simple truth is that chestnuts and grays are out of fashion right now in the warmblood world. And that's a shame.
