So I am going into year two of one of my barn cats pooping in my cement aisleway in my barn - every night. Sometimes twice a night. Needless to say, it's gross. I mean, don't I have enough poo to shovel every day? She does it primarily in the colder months - rarely in the summer. But since Fall has arrived in full-force in the last month or so, she's back at it. I don't get it - the other barn cats use my indoor arena as a giant litter box - why can't she??
I've tried scrubbing the floor with bleach (she poops in the same spot in the aisle every night) but she still insists on going there.
Thank your lucky stars it isn't pee, or yacked up mouse leftovers? Sorry, couldn't resist. I like LauraKY's idea of the litter box, and to make it even more alluring, try filling that litter box with some of that cat attractant litter for a while.
