Default Tell me about your post stem cell treatment protocol

My boss has a nice filly with a tendon injury. He is considering stem cell and prp. I've done a lot of research online but there doesn't seem to be much with regards to post treatment protocol. Im sure we will get instructions from the vet, but we're trying to decide if we should rehab her in ky or bring her out here to the farm. Anyhow, if you would share what you did that would be helpful.

It's been awhile but we did it for a knee injury, I believe we had to keep him stalled for a few days and just watch for any infection at the injection site. I don't remember it being really hard recovery but again it was in a joint. Not sure if it would be different in a joint.

I did it for a torn SI ligament. Right after implantation, he had three hyperbaric chamber treatments, which apparently reduces the number of implanted cells that die off.

Our exercise rehab was different from yours, since ours was a back injury and it was important to keep him working in order to keep his abs strong and supporting his back.

Here's a local horse who came back from it (and several other setbacks, too) and won. Might behoove to talk w/ his people.
