My guess is because some posters were getting a wee bit too intense in their opinions.

On another note the auto spell on my phone put "farting" instead of "getting". I'm glad I did a quick read before hitting the post button. Teehee

the OP requested it to be removed after not wanting opinions they asked for. I just don't get it??? I just said what I see QH going for in my area with the same scores. what-eva. I guess she prefers the 20K daydream.

it was really quite tame after some threads I have seen. She reminds me of Golden Venture Farm. Anyways, I was trying to help when asked but I guess she decided she did not want the thread after all.

I thought they wouldn't delete threads even if the OP changed their mind... Oh well. I have an APHA gelding (profile pic) that if he were 2 inches taller and a WB would quadruple in price...

It could have been deleted because it was a pricing thread. Those are some what frowned upon because they are frequently veiled attempts at advertising.

I think it was definitely intended as an ad, and am guessing that's why it poofed. I wish it had just been locked because I would have liked to have seen what responses came in since my post in it! Were it just for train wreck-direction purposes, I assume it would have been locked only.


I should post a "what is my TB worth" thread for entertainment - but I am actually going to want serious responses after we show start of next year so I can figure out what to set his insurance at. I know I'll get answers of $3k from some people just because. And the extremely unhelpful when trying to set a price for insurance "what people will pay."


I actually did not think anyone who posted before me was nasty in that thread, interestingly. I love quarter horses but don't think any horse with that level of training/no rated shows was going to sell for much.

the OP showed way more attitude then any of the posters IMHO and that was sort of insulting as it felt like a "bait and switch". (Look at my horse! see the videos! no wait, don't share his name! OK loco I cussed at another poster on here, even after she flat out called my DH several names, on a thread that was about opinions. Hence the no-no. And I doubt the other poster got one. Oh wells. So the "no-no" is basically a bad conduct mark in my PR file.
