Question of colors
Question: If you think the A hunter circuit, what colors are the first to pop into your head? Think Hampton Classic, Devon and other big east coast shows. And would the colors be different for west coast? And would the colors be different for the strictly AQHA hunter shows? Thank you!
Sorry! But that barn smell is my aromatherapy!

I picture the showgrounds, to be honest.

No, not clothing. Just free associate. What colors pop into your head when you think hunters?

I think hunter green and navy. With bay horses.
As for the AQHA, I picture chestnut horses instead of bay.

Of course when you think of Devon, you think of Devon blue!

An interesting question...I'd love to know where you're going with this? And in a truely curious, non-snarky way
For me, no matter what show I think of, it's always the colors of sunrises and sunsets. I guess since we so often see both in one day...

Yes, this one seems like a given.

Bay. And leather. That's what I picture.

Hay! Where I am going is this. I have a business and I create products for the horse industry. I'm just trying to think of new color combinations rather than the same old hunter green. Just seeing if people are seeing new colors when they think hunters. Thanks!

I generally think leather, gold, silver, navy and hunter green. Also maroon/deep red.
If you're looking to introduce a new color though, I love a dark indigo.

I always like deep purple, especially with black. Very classy.

Hampton Classic makes me think of those pale blue coolers that they give out- I would LOVE to see one of those on my pretty bay horse...

Mark me as a child of the 80s, but my first thought is the Beacon Hill colors of navy, gray and burgundy.
