Default We brought him home! Dales pony with pictures

I'm so excited I had to share. We brought Romey home today. In a previous post, I'd asked for advice on what people thought he was worth. I'd also shared that he didn't trailer well and had never been off the small farm where he was bred. He had previously wedged himself under the butt bar of a two horse trailer when they tried to trailer him. A friend of mine has a really nice trailer that converts into box stalls with a full wall and he was nice enough to trailer him for us today. It only took 20 minutes total to convince him it was OK to step up (instead of a ramp) and to actually stay in the trailer. He made it home with barely breaking a sweat.

Here's pictures of my new project pony. LOL--his breed is pony, but he himself is 15.1 hands. The pictures are on facebook, but it's set to public so anyone should be able to see them. Hopefully he'll be ready to show in some training level shows by spring!

    Wow, he is beautiful!

    It's funny that you have a 15.1 pony because I have a 13.3 horse!
