He's the cousin (I think) of a 3 y/o race horse I know, gelding. He looks like him, too. (Mr. Prospector grandson)

I HATE it when our horses go overseas, especially Korea and Japan, where you just know what will happen if they aren't successful. Infuriates me!

No, you don't. Please stop perpetuating this maddening line of BS. Japan and other overseas racing powers learned MUCH from those few sad incidents that instituted this awful xenophobic mind set, and regardless of those incidents, the level of care for the horses in those countries, at these farms, is outstanding. Additionally, virtually ALL high end horses sold overseas are now sold with a clause for the horse to be returned to the US at the conclusion of their breeding careers, as is the case here, as is stated in the article .

I'm sad to see so much promising bloodstock sold overseas because I feel we are missing the boat on what we SHOULD be breeding for racing in the US, but the horses are hardly suffering for it.

Is anyone else just floored that RHT is ELEVEN?! Wasn't it just a couple years ago that he was a Triple Crown contender? Wow, time just flies.
