I just got a call that my BO has had a massive stroke and is being flown to Roanoke to be treated. I am so upset by this, he is truly the best BO ever. I travel a lot(I am away now and won't be home until tuesday) and he has always treated my horses like his own, fly sprayed them every day, held them for the vet and farrier, doctored minor boo boos, sprayed my TB's summer skin crud, etc etc and just been all around wonderful. I can not put into words how great a person this man is.

He also has an exchange student here from Austria. She just got here in August and he was really excited to show her everything he could about horses (she wants to be a vet)

He broke his leg about a month ago and other boarders and friends have been taking care of the barn for him. My husband stopped and saw him last week and said he was going crazy on stall rest.
Please send prayers, jingles anything that will help!

Thanks so much for all of the jingles. So far they believe his right side is paralyzed, but he is in an induced coma right now and will be for a few days. I am praying that once they feel they can bring him out of the coma, there will be much better news.
I am still so sad for him and his family. He wasn't handling a few months of stall rest very well and I can not imagine how he will handle any paralysis.
