I'd like to see some better pictures. He looks uphill, anyway. He looks balanced, his shoulder looks massive (although maybe a little steep?). A bit short through the hip? Can't tell much about his legs from the pic. He could be cute--worth a look, sounds like he has a good disposition.

I agree the picture is not ideal. Horse looks to be leaning forward over the front legs, like he's wanting to walk off. Makes it hard to judge the angles, etc. Proportions aren't bad. But I would want a better look at the legs also.

Bred by Nina Gardner, too!
Love that his hocks are on the ground and giant withers!

If you're nearby, go look. He might surprise you in person. Sound and quiet ones are always worth a look IMHO. One picture is never enough to do any horse justice.

I think the horse looks badass and is subject of a bad photo. Go look! He is going back to the track, but is still on the market.
This is one I would take in a New York Minute for an event prospect, and probably get looked at like I was nuts. But, I see a fabulous hind leg, a huge shoulder with a big wither and a neck that comes out at a nice place. His biggish head would make me love him even more.
If he vets, he'll be a superstar--I'll bet ya!

I like him. Really nice front legs. That picture reminds me of the one I was sent of my current horse. I would never have gone to see him, if I didn't know the breeder and farm manager where he came from. They assured me he was quiet, yet athletic. He was/is

Bad pictures....but probably a pretty nice horse from what I can tell. Nina has really nice mares and often breeds pretty damn nice TBs. I'd certainly go look at him. He's been let down and ready to be restarted. His race videos didn't look bad either. Not much of a race horse
