[Winding Down]

Anyone familiar with the Wise Equestrian Dutton RZ saddle? I have a Devoucoux Chiberta that I love but it is getting quite worn and I am considering buying a newer saddle.

I will probably go with another Chiberta but if there is something out there that is better, I will consider it.

Love mine. Have had for 16 months. Incredibly secure, comfortable. Much better fit for horse than Devoucouxs. If you search, you will see that I have raved about this saddle from the moment I got it.

scubed, if I remember correctly, the price point is more reasonable on these, as well, right? Instead of 4-5k, we're talking more like 3k?

If and when I actually have the money to put together to get us something we both like (instead of tolerate!), these are on my list.

I searched the forum for any discussion and couldn't find any. Wonderful to hear that you really like it. I am in Northern Virginia, so will look for the closest contact. I do see them at the events but I am now done for the season.

I love mine too. I bought it at Rolex last year after looking at every single saddle there. On top of being a fabulous saddle, they let me take it home (live near by) and ride in the demo and then take it home again and have a fitter look at it. It is the most comfortable, well fitting saddle I have ever sat in.

I paid $3100 for my first one (brand new with all the frills). I got the second one for $2300 (used). I think you can get the new one with the plain flap for about $500 less than the fancy flap, although the price has gone up a bit (but there are starting to be a few used/demos around, so ask specifically about those as an option).

We ordered my daughters after Rolex with the upgraded leather and wool flocked for $2950 with Rolex discount. (We didn't get the rtf feature) Daughter LOVES it and it fits our high-withered OTTB very well
