    close to the Big Apple


    We have given him the Quiettex, it seems to have helped a bit. He is now trot-walking instead of trot-cantering but he is walking and twisting his shoe off! He stars at field that the horses have no interest in him any more. They are way away from him now. He still works himself into sweat also. We are going to clip him as then it will be more manageable.. Any other suggestions.. Where is summer when you need it! Seems to be environmental and weather related...

    Read up on ulcers & winter onset/flare-ups ... if you don't want to scope, then maybe try 7 days of Gastroguard (or Omeprazole paste ) - note that treatment requires 28 days & withdrawal should be gradual.
