I don't know if this is realistic or not, figured I'd see what you guys thought. I read on another "help identify this horse" thread about matching a horse to its' yearling photos if the tattoo was no longer ledgible. Is this standard procedure for the JC to have yearling pictures on file for every TB? I know my old ottb's tat # and his identity, and I have his old win pictures (so cool!) but I thought it would be neat to see baby pictures or just candid shots of him running- google "racehorse" and there are all sorts of pics of horses running, not just win pictures.
How would I go about looking for that? Or will it even exist? Getting in touch with the old owner is not an option, it would need to be something online, whether from a database or maybe a track photographer. I no longer own him, so it's not a life or death thing if I find anything, I was just curious. Thought it would be cool to see older pics of him from before I got him.

RIP Metro. Thanks for taking care of me.
The jockey club requires 4 photos for registration (front, rear, left & right views) and I'm sure they are on file somehow but I really don't think you would be able to get a hold of them. You could try, the jockey club office has always been very helpful when I've called. You're only out a toll free call and a few minutes of your time.
