Now I've officially seen it all
http://www.doversaddlery.com/hidez/p..._mid/11144527/
Not only does this magic lycra bodysuit apparently fix all that ails the competition horse, according to my promotional email from Dover today-- it also turns bad shippers into perfect ones. All this for only $600ish.
How is this more majik than my $50 sleezy sleepwear lycra body sheet? The addition of legs?! I can't imagine the hassle of getting that ON... nor how quickly it would get ripped/destroyed on the trailer as the horse rubbed to try to get his legs free.
Is this thing WASHABLE? I can't even tell what it's made from.

A horsie figure skating outfit!
No way is that Superman suit worth almost $600!
Well, I guess it is worth whatever someone will pay for it!

I wonder if it's related to the thunder shirts (?) they sell for dogs.

The unbeaten champion mare Black Caviar used it for her ship from Australia to Britain. It worked for her!

I'm pretty sure if you get killed by your horse while attempting to stuff him into that suit, it's justifiable homicide.

can barely get my horse to "agree" to his full-body blanket liner - I'd be dead for sure with this.
How do they pee? is there a sheath slit??

Also, how could that sizing possible work?! I don't believe that could fit both a slab sided, skinny TB and a big, chunky WB just because they are both 16h.

I'm totally tempted to get one, just for the comedy of it. If it was a bit less expensive, I'd do it.
Oh wait -- there's VIDEO!

And even assuming you could jam horses of different sizes in... how could the "perfect amount of compression" be achieved for each horse in a 1 size fits all garment?!

I am pretty sure my horse already thinks I am crazy with all of the grooming and stuff I subject him to. If I put him in this, he would definitely think I'd lost it!

Aaaand . . . it's Superhorse!
I just don't think it's for the run of the mill owner such as myself and my little herd of pasture puffs. If I had an Olympic starter I'd probably have a couple.
