Our pasture boarders (including my guy), all like to take an after breakfast snooze. They will usually take turns of one or two sleeping and one dozing on watch. On sunny fall and winter days, it will be full-on nap circle time.

My TB mare does. I don't always see her as she lives at a boarding barn, but she always has mud on her hocks and knees.

My horse takes a nap in the field roughly the same time every day and she looks like she's dead. If I move barns, I have to warn the BO/staff that she does this. To make matters worse, she's deaf so when you walk up to her, she can't hear you talk to her so she doesn't respond and you really think she's dead. When you get close enough, I think she can feel the vibrations from footsteps and will slowly open her eyes.
