Default Flashy Gray Sells for $775,000 at Keeneland

Been a bit swamped with life for a while now and haven't posted for a while but on 8 November a good friend from KY told me they watched a nice filly named FLASHY GRAY break her maiden impressively at Churchill that day.

So you just know that I had to post this:

“Her attitude really struck us," Finley said. "For just coming off the racetrack, she came here and just kind of put her head down and acted like a pro all week. Physically, she’s very correct. She’s a big, beautiful filly. She’s got good bone on her. We knew coming in there would be some people on her since she ran so impressively. She ran so well here at Keeneland (on Polytrack), and then won at Churchill (on dirt), so it kind of showed she’s versatile on both surfaces."
She's going to Bill Mott, too! It's nice to have a namesake.

Default Flashy Gray Breaks Her Maiden!

Oh, I am laughing at this and thinking "Oh, I knew her when she was just a filly" I'm guessing that victory in the Egg and Spoon race wasn't at a sanctioned meet?

    Wings! ^^^^

I also appreciated the mention of her big feet in the BH article. A fine filly, indeed.

One to keep an eye on!

She's got great pipes and a big butt, too!
