You have all that you can and a lot more than many people would do. Present company excluded. The forum people are good and caring horsewomen and men. But, best of luck. Tough deal and we are all behind you no matter what.

Been watching this thread. Don't post much. Wishing you peace in the next few days. This is one of the downsides of breeding. We foal out alot of mares every year and it just takes one situation that we really have no control over to burst the bubble for the season. Sending massive jingles for your mare she has a few rough days ahead of her.

Thinking of you and hoping the transfer goes well. The weather at least is cooperating. You will feel relieved once she is at the clinic I am sure. Jingling very loud that everything goes like text book without more traumatic events. Relax now, breathe. Lots of hugs and jingles for you and Sunrise.

Still sending jingles from Southern Colorado. I'm glad to hear the weather is cooperating, and please know I'm lifting YOU up today, too!

Thank you everyone for all your jingles!!

She got to the clinic this morning and was quite content in her new digs :P ...she had a really restless day today. The gave her her 6th shot of Estrumate tonight and palpated her, she is still super tight. Depending what happens tonight they will be breaking her water in the morning. She only ate 1/2 a bale of hay today so far which again is not her...she usually eats 1 1/2 to 2 bales a day...she has lost so much weight these last few weeks on her topline from not eating. It has really made me feel better about my decision, her belly is also really bugging her as well...poor girl, hope all goes well for her these next few days! Thanks again!!

Sending all my best thoughts to you, again. Plus jingles. Plus prayers and hugs. I am sure she is in good hands. Everyday my now 21 year old mare that I had aborted undisguised twins in 1999 looks at me and grins at feeding time.

Oops the foals were quite disguised, but undiagnosed. I hate my iPad.

    Jingling...

Glad to know she is at the clinic and you can now have a good night sleep. Jingling loud and clear that the procedure goes smoothly.

Is she still wearing the belly band?

Yeah, I am hoping to get some sleep...if I can keep from worrying about her!

Yes, she does still have her band on; I went tonight after work to put it back on her.

Her name is Golden Sunrise (Kali).

From one Kali owner to another, **HUGS** and jingles coming your way. It really isn't fair how some things work out sometimes, I'm so sorry but I feel you're making the best decision.
