    Default Cribbing strap problems

My horse is a really bad cribber..only does it outside on the fence though and is only outside for about 3 hours

Tried a stirrup leather and it worked but made his throat swollen
Tried the french style strap and it didn't sit right

    any other solutions???

also tried a muzzle and he was not a fan...

Giving more turnout might help, 3 hours a day is pretty measly.

There's the nutcracker cribbing straps, the Miracle Collar, and those Dare cribbing collars too.

Here's a link to the Dare collar that sublimequine referred to -

We've got one atrocious cribber in the barn who lives in the Dare collar except for when cross tied or under saddle. He's missing a bit of mane from it, but otherwise no marks at all, and it does a fabulous job of controlling his cribbing.
