People suck, that's all I can say.
For no reason other than he has a big hind tendon, my neighbor has decided he wants no part of the pony. The tendon hasn't bothered him and looks to be an old injury. He has been an angel while we have had him and improved each time I ride him.
So he is basically telling me to take him or he is getting rid of him.
I am frustrated because the deal was we share expenses he keeps him at his place and I ride him. Now he has to move To my place and I take all responsibilities.
I don't want him to dump him so I am going to take him, but I just have to vent that people suck!
He is a rescue, obviously he is going to have issues. I wanted to get him going and find him a good home, not turn him into a grand prix jumper!

So I guess I guess I will be walking him over to my place tomorrow and working with him on my own!
He is a kind soul. He let my boyfriend who knows nothing about horses hold him while I bathed him today. He didn't move a muscle!
Wish he wasn't a stallion, I just hope he doesnt have complications because he is an older stallion.

Was the neighbour the original owner? or the "first rescuer"? Thank you for taking him on... Now you can trim his mane!!! lol

He's gorgeous and I'm sorry your partner backed out, It stinks but I've seen it happen over and over again with horses :/ If I was closer I could take him off your hands :P

Cute.As.A.Bug!
re: your neighbor - Yeah, sometimes when the going gets the least bit rough the worms turn.
Just make sure your former "partner" doesn't change his mind once pony starts looking good.
Can he give you some sort of BOS so you'll have pony legally?

He's adorable. I don't really understand the arrangement - I mean, what was the neighbor doing for a year aside from giving him water? I wouldn't have wanted him/her in on any sort of "partnership" anyway. Good for you, and Cricket.
