So I'm in a pretty awesome position these days because my PITA WB gelding has decided to grow up and no longer be a PITA... I have had some many awesome rides in a row that I don't know what to do anymore! I have owned him 4 years and this is the first time I have felt this way. For instance, yesterday's ride consisted of perfect flying changes in both directions, perfect stop - canter and walk - canter transitions, perfect pace to and from the 2'3 jump, and excellent bending through the corners... If you knew my horse at this point, you would probably faint at this news...

So now it looks like I'm the problem and the one holding us back at this comfortable level. What are some good exercises to improve your riding when your horse is being an angel? My worst faults include rubbery legs and hunched shoulders.
