Question Yearling filly sweating at rest in 50* temps??

Got home from work this evening and my 19 month old filly had sweat on both sides of her neck and flanks. Felt cool to the touch and was acting normally. Her temp was 100.0. Good gut sounds and is pooping. Ate supper with usual gusto.

Just checked on her again and she was down and sleeping comfortably but still had lots of cool sweat on her neck. Happily got up for a treat and some loving when she saw me. It is now closer to 40* outside.

I hate to be a worrywart but its just weird!! Any ideas? Will of course be monitoring her and will likely call the vet in the morning.

She could have been running around, and in the cooler temps the sweat isn't drying.

Not much hair but I am embarrased to say I think it was just sweat from play that was slow to dry due to cool weather.

She is not one to run around and is VERY sedate. Her buddies were not sweaty so when I noticed her sweat last night my mind jumped to illness not exercise! Sweat was gone by this morning and she is 100% normal.
