    Default Stallion Winningmood...

I have loved this stallion for years.

    Has anyone bred to him?

Last time I looked it was 2000 euros to breed to him and can't find it here in the US?

Anyone have more info on him. I would love to breed my mare to him some day!

I too LOVE Winningmood. Saw him in Belgium years ago and then saw his offspring at a stallion selection where they were ROCKSTARS.

I too lost track and am interested to hear what's up.

I believe Julie Ballard Haralson had a Winningmood filly last year. I am not sure though if she bred to him with frozen, or bought the mare in foal.

I inquired in late 2011 for a 2012 breeding and was told Winningmood semen would not be available to outside mares. Hopefully, that has changed.

    Yes the Darco/Cassini stallion.

I think he had colic surgery in 2010 if my research serves me, but can't seem to find much more info on him that's recent.

We were going to be importing it 4 or so years ago, and had so little interest that it was not financially worth while.
Too bad, he is a very good horse.

Winningmood is ridden by Luciana Diniz for Portugal and owned by Edouard de Rothschild. Great performer.

In Europe semen is available through Ludo Philipaerts, but not available in 2012, maybe for 2013?.

I have been waiting 3 years now to get some semen from him.
Hopefully in 2013. He was off with an injury for the latter part of this season so hopefully they will collect for frozen over the winter.

That would be fantastic. I really like him and love his breeding.

This would be a dream come true!

Please if anyone finds out when he might be available let us know!
