I'm wondering if they're just some kind of hair detangler/leave in conditioner dilution.
I have an extremely hairy paint pony that in the coming months, I know I'm going to have to give mini-baths to. I'd like to be able to spot clean her, too.
I've used the hot water/towels wrung out method, and yes, it works but for the in betweens when you don't want to lug water, I'd like to do this.
However, the price tag is a bit much for daily use. Anyone have their own concoction?
Rubbing alcohol works well to get rid of stains.
Try a grooming block.
They work surprisingly well on stains -- enough so that I buy them more often to get stains out of gray horses than I do as actual deshedding tools.
