Default Stable rug and static electricity

Anyone have recommendations on a stable blanket/rug that doesn't create static electricity. The current stable blanket with 220g fill is one that you take off over the head (no chest buckles) and it is giving my horse a shock! Needless to say this can't go on.

I have read that you can use dryer sheets on the blanket and horse. Possibly there are better blankets that are more apt to prevent this problem.

You can try wiping your horse with a damp towel just before taking it off, or my fave - spray blanket before putting it on and/or horsie with the spray to prevent undergarments of humans from having same problem.
Horses should be trained in such a way that they not only love their riders, but look forward to the time they are with them.
