Way to go! I've voted every year since I turned 18--I am a firm believer in our civic duty. Keep it up!

    Great job!

Awesome! You should brag about that!! Never too late to start.

I apologize if this looks funny. Accidentally hit the color button so not sure what I just did, if anything.

Alright! I'm going to go on Monday before I ride, then wear my Georgia voter sticker with pride all day long!

    Ooooooo . . . and you're a swing stater.

I gotta admit curiosity as to who you backed, but either way, good on ya!

I'm not going to publicly "out my vote" but I will say that I am not a fan of the election process in this country. Never have been, don't think I ever will be. Too many very qualified people are swept aside by the two major political parties. I did feel strongly about a certain local candidate however, and that made me decide to cast my first ballot. I registered non-partisan so that I could vote for the candidate and not the party. So, I guess you could say I voted a split ticket.

    Glad you voted, finally.
Now you get to complain all you want.

This was the first time I almost didn't vote at all.
Kind of disgusted with everyone and the whole histrionic and out of control mess.
I had friends threaten not to speak to me again if I didn't vote.
I gave in to peer pressure.

Now, if there was just some way to turn off all the ads, signs, cold calls, and the rest of the annoyances, I'd be really happy. I get more political campaign mail than I do catalogs in the mail these days.

    Congratulations!

My philosophy has always been 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain' and I love to complain

And you're not the only one. You just got an earlier start:
