    Default Info About Aurigan Bit

I'm digging through my supplies to sell some tack and I found an interesting bit. It's a loose-ring snaffle that is copper-colored and has the word "aurigan" stamped on it. I did a little research and found that Sprenger sells bits made of that material. I don't see any branding on this bit, but I didn't find any other brands that sell them.

Does anyone know anything about these bits? How much might it be worth?

If it is a sprenger it cost over $100 so you coujld do well on it.

If it's a genuine Sprenger (which it should be as I think they have the trademark on Aurigan), yes, should be valuable. (Aurigan is quite heavy and some horses seem to like that, and Sprenger bits are really first-rate.)

That is what I hoped to read! I would keep it for myself, but my horse has a Sprenger bit that he loves. Thanks for the info, this helps a lot.
