Once the newness wears off, no-one will notice this anymore.

Personally the like/dislike thing doesn't bug me, the red is only very mildly distracting, and the whole new look is fine.

There are much bigger things in life to stress over, I think.

Someone said one of my posts was helpful. It's a very rewarding, happy feeling. Excuse my giggling.

No, I didn't use the red thumb because I am not agreeing or disagreeing.

(yes, you my funny little stalker friend)
I prefer to think of them as "secret admirers."
That way I get to feel all warm and fuzzy!

The Post Reply button doesn't work on tablet or desk top, so I can't use emoticons (unless I remember the keyboard equivalents)

Also, the signatures take up way more space and are distracting.

    Dislike.

Now I see that if I click 'go advanced' I can get the new and improved emoticons.

This thread has an unusually high ratio of views/posts.

Try placing curser at the very top edge of the reply button.

Eh, I was on a Guinea Pig forum where they not only had the anonymous thumbs up, thumbs down (+/-) but you could also say "thanks" or "no thanks" for the post with your name attached. It was interesting to see people get 10 thanks from their “friends” and then 25 negative marks.

Of course, mods and admin, who ruled with an iron fist and dripped with hypocrisy, had it set up so they could ONLY get thanks. Regular members could get a no thanks, a negative AND an infraction for disagreeing with them. This system is tame in comparison but I think the notifications should be turned off.

I’m a skimmer so I like being able to see what everyone else feels is a good or bad post before I read past the first sentence on long ones.

That blue tab at the bottom for reply is still not working for me, no matter where the curser is placed.
The reply tab under the last post works fine, that is what I have been using.

Um, Alagirl? I'm not sure if the "stalker" comment was directed at me (since you were quoting my post), but rest assured, I'm not stalking you and have not given you any thumbs up or down that I recall.
