    Default Charleston SC lesson barns

Trying again, received no responses on Off Course. For an adult beginner rider.

    Default Thanks BlueEyedPaint...

I don't know the area at all mroades, but what is not close (I have to drive 50 miles to get to anything so my definition may be different than others -- also traffic isn't an issue where I am -- don't know about Charleston)?

    Thanks

I teach and train in the area but I would second Middleton Stables for an adult beginner. Trish Russo is very experienced with riders of all ages and abilities and has very suitable school horses.

Heritage Hall is nice--love the covered arena... I have a friend that boards out there. It's a bit far with traffic from the area the person would like to be in, I think. And I don't know that Charity has the best program for adult beginners...

What about Kristi Harris at Oakfield Farm? She is out in Awendaw so might not be convenient depending on where you are coming from.

I know a girl who lessons at Silver Meadows Stables and she loves it. Also I know a girl who takes dressage lessons at One Tempi Farm; not sure if they do beginners but she really likes it too so it might be worth checking out.

Not sure where you are located, but we have just built a new facility off of Hwy 41 N about 15 min north of Mt. Pleasant. We will be starting a lesson program in the next few weeks. While we specialize in ponies, we do have a couple of lesson horses and plan to offer lessons to all ages.
