I hope I get a chance to get away from my booth and do some shopping. The timing works perfectly for the COTH Secret Santa

I'm in the market for a trailer so I may go but the shopping doesn't look all that great. Two years ago there were lots of vendors, this year not so many. I used to get a 3 day pass this year I might not go at all.
    No:
    County
ABI/Kisser (thinking of buying a water wagon)
    Dubarry
    Nibble nets
    VTO
    Blue Ridge Trailers
Dover (some years back they sponsored Steffen Peters)
Equus/Practical Horseman/DT (once upon a time they sponsored Lendon Grey)
    Jane Savoie

I keep looking at the list and thinking "Are they going to add more vendors?

I'm going for the first time this year, and am fairly excited! Even if it ends up being a total flop shopping-wise (DH will be THRILLED!) I'm looking forward to a nice, horsey weekend away with a few horsey friends, as well as Fantasia and the Anne Gribbons seminar!

What Anne Gribbons seminar? Are we talking about the same event?

I am planning on going Saturday. It is just something different to do. I have always managed to find some fun things shopping there. I want to try and find a few things for Christmas presents for the barn manager, and the two ladies who help with the horse care as well as the barn owner. I also have a secret santa person I need a gift for.

I might go on Saturday, I haven't decided yet. The shopping may leave something to be desired, I'm bummed that VTO won't be there this year. If I go, I'll try to stop by and say hi!

Perhaps not.... Are you talking about the Equine Affair in Springfield, MA? If not just disregard my post and I will take my virtual spankings for butting in. I've been calling it the Equine Extravanganza at home to scare DH's credit card.

I have found that usually there are a TON more vendors that are actually there than EE posts on their website. Methinks that only the biggies get mentioned.

It's the small, mom-n-pop vendors that don't get plugged on the website, but they're there!
