I believe the encore presetation of season 2 starts in December. Meanwhile, I'm making due with Upstairs Downstairs and Call the Midwife. While not quite Downton Abby, they are very good period dramas.

I think they said sometime in January for season 3. It's one of the few period dramas that I can tolerate; don't much care for Upstairs, Downstairs, and Call The Midwife conflicts with Heartbeat, another period series, a long running one, set in the 60s and this one comes with appropriate music: Yardbirds, Stones, Donovan, Moody Blues and many lesser knowns; same music on its sister story, The Royal.
I've been finding quite good newer stuff from England: Dazliel and Pascoe, A Touch of Frost,New Tricks, Wallander, and a few others.

I've been watching season three on the net. Looking for season 3 episode 7 which aired on Sunday in the Uk- Anyone have link?
Did not enjoy the Shirley Maclaine character. disappointing.
Send Pm if you'd rather.
For those who enjoy this type of drama- you might also enjoy older series- Duchess of Duke Street -which you can watch on youtube.

A friend of ours is the maid this season for Shirley Maclaine. Her sister babysits for us about once a week....did you happen to notice her?

Its been airing in England for well over a month, and therefore most of the episodes are already online if you care to watch it that way.

Just like during the Olympics, download ExPat Shield and then search for ITV1. You can watch all of season 3 before it airs here!

I may just do that... I am too impatient to wait... Expat Shield worked pretty well during the Olympics!
