For this year I can't resist but go BACK to Sir Wanabi for my Sir Caletto mare - I took last year off but one can only HOPE for kismet again
As he is sold, I can share this video of Soul Kiss - Simone X Sir Wanabi: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ru43l...ature=youtu.be
The TB mare a bit of a question mark ?? OLD MMB - so athletic ?? Hmmm - jumper stallions - hmm
It is a shopping challenge LOL
"Her life was okay. Sometimes she wished she were sleeping with the right man instead of with her dog, but she never felt she was sleeping with the wrong dog."
Well we have had some changes to our plans. Vallado/Praise is available fresh semen this year, so we are jumping all over that while we have the opportunity. We decided to send Charmed to Germany next January for competition, so will probably not breeder her this year and Vega is going into driving training, so will also take the year off from breeding.
Every year this thread gets more and more impressive- congrats to all! We have, as usual, changed plans as well and will need a whole lotta breeders luck (and a bottle of wine for our repro vet-lol), but here it goes:
Argentina (Argentinus/Grenoble) x Last Man's Hope (Last Man Standing x Conteros)
Ucinda (Lux x Concorde) x Emilion for ET (Wellington x Farnese)
La Ina 18 (Libero x Voltaire) x Diktator for ET (Thunder VD Boslandhoeve x Capitol)
La Ina 18 (Libero x Voltaire) x Balou du Rouet (Baloubet du Rouet x Continue)
Obsession TW (Canaletto B x Carthago) x Carrara VDL (Cardento x Baloubet du Rouet)
Well, my Popeye K mare is due any minute with her second Banderas baby and though she has gorgeous foals, she's going back to being my riding horse once the new baby's weaned.
But breeding is addictive and I recently bought a really cute German Riding Pony/ISR Sport Pony mare by Benno's Dream and she'll be bred to GRP stallion Bodyguard in May or June. I've admired Bodyguard for some time and am thrilled I finally have something to breed to him!
Suaheli (Sandro Hit - Rouletto) will go to Edward (Embassy - Fabriano)
SPS Djambalaya (Don Frederico - Prince Thatch xx) unfortunately will be left Open - unless someone is going to lease her or I have a real special idea ..

Thanks Cindy, I know, I hope I am not getting over my head!!? I am high on last years luck but by no means confident !! LOL.
As for the ETs I will breed the mares and then probably have Deb flush ect IF I am brave enough to try with my mares. That is what will be done with my friend's mare but I am still really up in the air about trying with my girls, probably depends on how good my luck is with the straight breeding mares.
Have you got your picks yet? I haven't read all the posts so might have missed it.
It was a long time deciding but I am breeding 5 for next year:
Roxsand VA (Rosentau/Weltmeyer) to Sir Donnerhall II
Fawn (Freestyle/Mascaro) to Bon Balou
Leilani (Londonderry/Evergreen) to Fuerst Romancier
Clair de Lune (Bernstein/Asterix) to Freestyle
Winterwick (Rhodium/Don Primaire) to Foundation (if no luck there I might try her with backup fresh to Connaisseur)
I also have a extra doses of Sir Donnerhall II and Rotspon so things could get shuffled slightly. But that is the initial plan :-) Now if the weather would just smarten up so I could even start to THINK of breeding the girls that would be good!
