Default Olds College Alberta Jockey Program

    hi everyone,

i was just wondering if anyone here has been or knows someone who did the exercise rider/jockey program at olds college in alberta? just want a little more information about the program in general and if you feel it was worth it, did it help you make connections in the industry, make it easier to get hired, etc.

    thanks for your help!

I have hired lots of the kids who went thru the program. They have produced some nice young race riders as well. Even an Eclipse award winner. Well worth doing to learn the ins and outs of the track , while being placed on suitable horses. You can PM me for any information you want. I am no longer in Alberta. But still connected to several people.

I had no idea that Olds had a program of this nature. I am a BFF of Diadoro's wife. Dunno if they want to teach without Nikki there, but maybe.
I would go with flypony's suggestions
