 Godspeed Puppy.....1999-2012
At 4pm today, 10/25, we send my sweet Puppy over the Rainbow Bridge. 
Loving, loyal, protective of her family....tennis balls were her addiction! Chasing squirrel, deer and fox.....facing off with a group of coyotes...if I ever wanted a buddy to walk in the woods, she was it! The 11 years we've been together went by so fast. How can it be that she's already 13 and failing?
This year has been tough for her, age catching up....heart faliure making it impossible to breathe, medication no longer overpowering the effects.
It's time to go, my sweet, sweet Puppy. Soon you will be free of pain and chasing squirrel, deer and fox over the Rainbow Bridge and into the big field in the sky.
Miss you girl......

I read but don't post often on these kinds of threads, but jingles for you and your pup, and for others who face the same situation of letting our friends go. Our cats have bells on their collars, so they jingle full time for everyone, as do I.

I'm so sorry, hugs to you.
I put my lab down 3 weeks ago, he was the same age as your puppy. He also loved tennis balls, hope tonight they are both playing with tons of them.
