    This is a great book!!

He has several other books as well. Super good for keeping you safe and your children safe.

It also helps you understand how fear works from someone who grew up having to recognize life threatening situations from merely dangerous ones.

    DEFINITELY worth the read!!

This book was recommended to members several years ago by a senior, very knowledge member. (We were discussing safety while alone at the barn or trail riding alone.) The beginning of the book maybe tough for some to take because it is straight forward and scary but, the book itself is a great read, very interesting and extremely informative. I bought it used several years ago and have let many friends read it. It is out on loan right now. Read it. You will be thankful you did. The next time someone gives you an uneasy feeling or "the willies" listen to yourself, don't brush it off, for this is your gift of fear.

Thanks for the heads up! Just bought it for my Kindle.

I'm definitely one of those people who has trouble trusting her own instincts - even when they've panned out to be correct on more than one occasion. That "oh, you're just being a mistrustful wuss" always seems to creep in & try to kick instinct/intuition out.

Again, these are seriously good books!!

If you are a parent, you MUST read "Protecting the Gift."

Gavin DeBecker is amazing! To come from where he did--unimaginable!
