Default How NOT to drop into water.

This is pretty funny. Horse appears totally nonplussed.

I love the horse's expression in the later shots when she's trying to right herself - "Come on, lady, get back where you belong so we can keep going!". Seems like most of the fliers at the water go from full speed launch to a standstill when they hit the water, but not this guy!

I got the biggest laugh out of reading this quote:

“I love that horse so much! He has the heart of a lion with the brain of a marble! A shiny marble! With glitter in it.”

Julie clearly has a wonderful sense of humor and that horse is really something special!

Awesome photography and what a character. One of my pupils learnt the hard way that you don't jump into water too fast. Following heavy rain the water jump was a bit deep and the pair bowled in too fast, did a lovely jump but the water took pony's legs out from under him and both disappeared under water. Pony got up and took off and rider stood knee deep in water in the middle of the jump, raining water from every conceivable place and plaintively asked "am I able to carry on?" His pony was back at the trailer by now. I so wish I'd had a camera!

She was really really lucky the water was so shallow. Seen a number fall doing that into deeper water. But cute story and great pictures...and lucky save by the rider. My horses would have put their heads down and helped me into the water!

I literally did LOL (or sort of snarfle loudly) while at work and everyone in my cube turned to look at me. I tried to explain the humor...
