    Default Neon Halter

Anyone know a place that has them cheap, i.e. under $15? I've looked at the usual suspects and the cheap ones are normal colors; red, blue, black, etc.

I'm not a huge fan of neons asthetically, but it has to be easier to find a bright orange halter in the field than a dark blue one.

Shine's halter: Any benefit you gain from the halter being visible may be offset by the horse hiding his head in the shrubs in embarrassment.

Didn't say I would put it on one my "nags" because I'd be out a lot of money. 1. Getting them out of the shrubs (the halters). 2. Not finding them (the horses). 3. The lawsuit hunting down the punks that want to put the halters on their 4 wheeler Bad move on their part if they get caught!

The best bet is to pick up some "Neon Duck Tape" at any hardware store. They have tons of bright colors so you can label the halters. Just make sure the halters are a "break-away" type.

    And Pumpkin for $21.95

    Not under $15 but close.

BDG, I think that's it. Thanks. Off to do my Christmas shopping.

Shine, That one is just, well, wow.

Since this horse has developed the skill of removing halters on a whim, I'd almost hate to see what she'd do with a break away. Oh, wait, she used to wear leather halters. They broke. Often.

She can also leave a sheet or blanket in the field, usually without a tear and the straps still set.
