Daughter of Texas On My Side. "Ivy" will be 15 this year (1998) and is 15.2hh. She has great conformation. She was started in halter and showmanship as a young mare, and then started under saddle, but suffered an injury when being started in specialized (reining or cutting, I don't recall) training.
She does have a limp especially right after her feet are trimmed. My friend tried her in shoes with only minor improvement; the farrier thought they could experiment with some other things but my friend pulled the shoes and did not pursue riding again. She could probably give pony rides or be ridden by a child under adult supervision. Ivy is very well-mannered as soon as her halter is on (she did do showmanship after all) but can be disrespectful of personal space in a field, especially if she is being pushed by other horses. She is pretty low on the totem pole in a herd situation but her weight doesn't seem to suffer.
She had had one foal and is broodmare sound. Nice pedigree! Please note that she is OLWS positive. If you need more info on OLWS just ask.
Can deliver within reasonable distance of Seattle.
