Default My kitten used up one of his nine lives yesterday

"Bubba," my 10 month old Persian, was playing in a box that I had stupidly left too close to the cellar stairs. I could see what was about to happen but couldn't get there in time. As I ran to try and save him down the stairs went the box, tumbling end over end, with Bubba kitteh frantically trying to get out of it as it fell. Luckily, no broken bones or other injuries and he was zooming around just fine about 5 minutes later. Sheesh.
What's wrong with you?? Your cheese done slid off its cracker?!?!

Our daughter did that when she was about 6 months old. She was in her baby wheelie walker thing-I think they are illegal now! It was the day after we had completed the stair carpeting project. She landed upside down at the bottom of the stairs-all I could see were her chubby little legs and feet sticking up. I thought surely she was dead, she thought it was a riot, came up giggling...

My little Grannycat almost drowned in a toilet when she was a kitten.
DH & I were both present, but the sight of her soaked and scrambling on the procelain to get out had us LOL so hard we nearly didn't save her.

    RBP:
When we were babysitting 6mo granddaughter and I handed her over to Grandpa in her bouncyseat, he promptly set off for the back stairs to the yard and she popped out when he started carrying her seat & all, down the 4 steps to the concrete!
Seat came unfastened and she dropped straight down
Fortunately she landed on her well-padded/diapered bum so noone got hurt except Grandpa's ears from me blistering them with "WTF were you thinking!"
