 New horse- needs a new name!
So my new horse finally arrived and I couldn't be happier!! He's a 5 year old imported from Holland and hopefully my next 1.50m horse. So the only issue is his name- Clapton. It's not a bad name, just doesn't suit him. He's 17.1 but almost all leg and literally wants to be in your pocket. His name has to start with a C and I would prefer only one or two words long. By ideas? Ill post pictures tomorrow hopefully!

Clandestine! I've always wanted to name a horse that. I also like Cadet, Cadenced Rhythm, and Cuzco.

For some reason Contender came to mind.
Congrats - I bet your excited!!!
Catch me if you can... A bit Quarter Horsey but cute... and you could call him Catch. Cause he's a catch..

Will you be changing his name with KWPN? I think it's a shame that so many horses change names when they get here from Europe or change owner's in general. It makes it very hard to track successful bloodlines and a horse's history over time, so please consider making the change "official" with his registry. If you do change his name, please do not choose Contender, that is a VERY famous Holsteiner stallion, one of the best ever, and there are probably a million of them in USEF anyway. Good luck with your new mount! Hope we get to see pics sometime!

Eric Clapton songs that start with C include: Carnival, Catch Me If You Can, Change the World, Circus, Come Back Baby, Comin' Home, County Jail Blues, Crosscut Saw, Crossroads, The Core... and of course Cocaine!... he was in a band called Cream.

While I personally like Clapton (I also love the singer), I really love the name Cessna for a jumper. I do know a mare named Cessna, but she is not competing...

Corsair is also a jet name. The old Navy A-7 attack jets were Corsairs.
