Neiman Marcus Christmas Catalog - Fantasy Gifts - The $100,000 Chicken Coop
 Oy Vey!
"Dawn breaks. The hens descend from their bespoke Versailles-inspired Le Petit Trianon house to their playground below for a morning wing stretch. Slipping on your wellies, you start for the coop and are greeted by the pleasant clucking of your specially chosen flock and the site of the poshest hen house ever imagined. Your custom-made multilevel dwelling features a nesting area, a "living room" for nighttime roosting, a broody room, a library filled with chicken and gardening books for visitors of the human kind, and, of course, an elegant chandelier. The environment suits them well as you notice the fresh eggs awaiting morning collection. Nearby, you pick fresh vegetables or herbs from your custom-built raised gardens. You've always fancied yourself a farmer—now thanks to Heritage Hen Farm, you're doing it in the fanciest way possible! "

I'd better hide the catalogue from Patience and Prudence. They'd be totally dissatisfied with their plain vanilla Precision Pet coop.

I was looking at the pictures and was like... "I wonder if they can picture all the chintz covered in bird droppings and feather dust..."

Remember the year they offered mini horses for about the same price? A perfect gift for the child in your life - a mini with full tack and your own trainer that comes with the pony on Christmas morning.

The chandelier may be included, but the shipping is not!
I'm not ordering mine until I get a free shipping code--does anyone have one?

I am having to try REAL HARD to mentally add what is pictured up in my head and even remotely get to $100,000.
To me six figures would at least have to have plumbing and airconditioning.
Unless the chandelier and chair (Louis XIV original perhaps?) are the bulk of it?
ETA: It says "props" other than the chandelier are not included so really what kind of chandelier is this?

My dad actually just custom built a 12'x12' chicken house for a client that ended up being $70,000.
I learned everything I know from a chestnut mare so don't even try me.

But they will donate 3000$ of your purchase to one of my favorite groups, American Livestock Conservancy!
"for every Heritage Hen Mini Farm purchase, NM will donate $3,000 to The American Livestock Breeds Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that protects genetic diversity through the conservation and promotion of endangered breeds.
I hope you are all members, by the way. http://www.albc-usa.org/

I also would like to know this.
Considering that I purchased my entire two story, three bedroom house with (detached) 2 car garage for less than $70k, I am thinking that someone in need of a really luxe six figure hen house could just buy my house and then spend the $30k to have it moved.
Think of the possibilities: you could cook the chickens in their own kitchen!
