    Default Crawford's Saddlery, Ruckersville, Va.

    Someone told me yesterday that Crawford's has been sold and is currently closed, anyone on here know any details?

    Oh gosh, I hope not!!! I love Crawfords, and have been going there for years and years!

    I was in their store two weeks ago and there were no customers (not completely shocking) and didn't hear anything when in there about them closing.

    Spoke to someone today who said there is a note on the door saying that they will be re-opening under new ownership. I hope they open again soon!

    Yup - husband & I drove by on our way to Charlottesville yesterday, & the big "Crawford's Saddlery" sign was gone from the outside & the door & all the windows were completely papered over on the inside.

    Just for the heck of it I tried the phone number today, but no answer.

    I live right by there...was so sad to see that it was closed. But like HopeandJoy I have also been told that its being re-opened under new ownership! I certainly hope it opens soon, it was my "go to " store during lunch time to get some last minute things needed before going to the barn after work...let alone their consignment stuff! always found great deals there...
