A behind-the-scenes look at how Clydes were trained for the Bud commercials. Definitely worth watching!

I loved hearing all the "GOOD BOY"s during the filming. And the horses generally seem to be having a good time and want to please.
I enjoyed that very much.

Thanks, as a newly minted owner (as in 1 month) of one of the breed that was fun to watch.

Docked tails
Quick question since Clyde people are posting here: can you educate me on tail docking? I thought it was illegal for decades but you see plenty of drafts with docked tails.

Wonderful, Mike. Thanks!
To Bicoastal:
Tail docking is illegal in the UK. It is common in the US and Canada, primarily on the show circuit.

Clicker based?
Thanks for the quick tangent regarding docking. Love the training videos. I watch and think clicker (or any other marker) but I don't see any rewards being doled out. What is the horse's motivation or reinforcement for performing the behavior?
I need to send my dog there so they can teach him to weave with that much independence and energy. If they can teach 1800 lb draft, an 8lb dog will be easy peasy

I loved the video- but did anyone else find the music somewhat... odd...
Given the nature of the video and the backdrop I would have expected more of a western/country nature.

Yes - now that you mention it - it does seem sort of out of place.
