I vote #2. It sounds like you want to take him, and from the sounds of it, who can blame you?? If you won't be competing either way, then I think you'll get more enjoyment out of riding the WOW greenbean and learning off him this time around.

Lol. I do feel quilty. Like I am cheating on my girl by taking someone else to the big party. However, I'm sure she won't mind hanging out with her friends at home rather than working her butt off in a GM clinic.

Don't take the horse unless you at least trace clip it. You seriously don't want to be on the receiving end of that situation. I've seen it happen more than once and it was unpleasant for the rider (and the rest of the horse's people), and the poor horse ended up getting clipped late in the night in a freezing cold barn aisle in poor lighting.

The horses work so hard it's not fair to them to be in a full coat under those conditions, and GM will make it a point you wont forget.

I rode her in a clinic in November, some years back, and she wasn't clipped. He never said anything. She was very well groomed and super shiny, though.

    Pics are up at www.shootphoto.ca.

I was a little overwhelmed the first day (to put it mildly). I don't remember having to jump a liverpool without stirrups the last time I did a clinic with GM - lol!

The second day went better and, overall, it was an incredible learning experience.

If you go to the proofs page on the photo site, we are the first picture in the Saturday, session 2 GM clinic.

    Your horse is super cute!

I think we should all chip in and send George a new jacket for Christmas. LOL. He's been hanging onto that one for years.

Right now I am looking for a "been there done that " horse. They are worth every penny. If I was younger I might like to have the Wow greenie but now I don't have enough time or "bounce" ;-)

You weren't kidding when you said it was a "WOW greenie!" What a cute horse! Super jealous of your brown boots, BTW.

As one the other girls said, finished up shiny side down and furry side up, so all in all - a success.

The WOW greenie sold today and is happily home with his new family. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to ride him with GM and look forward to hearing many wonderful things about him in the future.

Just saw this now - thank you very much! Wasn't the whole thing just a fantastic experience? And best wishes to you and your WOW greenie as he heads off to new adventures. Do you have another project waiting in the wings?
