    Default Retired horses needing homes?

    I was wondering what is the best way to get in contact with trainers/owners that have horses no longer able to run but are ready for a new career in Florida?

    CANTER organization. Don't they have an affiliate in Florida? If not them then possibly New Vocations?

    Gulfstream Park has a TB Aftercare Program and they are having a fall charity horse show coming up next week. Talk to people there, I'm sure they could give you some great contacts

    Check the Ocala Craigslist too, there are usually plenty of TBs on there looking for homes.

    @BansheeBreeze
    I have finally caught up to your ottbs connect! you've done a terrific job...and great site! I will be sure to keep passing it along to all my fb friends.

    its just awesome!

    Did you show at Pimlico? There was a great article in the mid atlantic times ...super turnout, and fantastic support.. 3 rescues were given $5500 each as a result.

    Aw thanks, didn't want to be accused of shoving it down peoples throats ;-) I'm just really happy to see so many people interested and trying to get available TBs out there! The more people, the more horses get seen and the better chance of one of them finding a good home, that's the goal.
