I dont like the change change change in music all of the time but I also dont like the matching footfalls to music in either performance of the first horse either.

Yes, but it isn't economically feasible unless you have big $ sponsors to pay for it. Just a an Olympic quality horse is clearly superior - but most of us don't have access to that kind of horse. And an Olympic calibre rider is clearly superior - but most of us aren't. I hate to see this sport become more and more about $$$

Was that grey horse the one that people are talking about? Wow. I hated the music. I thought it was horrendous--the music just lost all of the beauty of the horse instead of enhancing it, and that horrid, horrid fake fade away in the music in the pirouette.

I think created music is horrid and the easy way out. It just takes away all of the artistry of it.

Lol, I loved the music! I thought they did a great job of "enhancing the beauty of the horse."

i think that each competitor should ride to the *same* music - only then will you see who is the most artistic !

Can someone explain to me why these things cannot simply be mixed rather than re-written?

I do not understand the money going into these freestyles and why not find an amature mixer or stop trying to match footfalls (which we know is not a have to thing).
