Totally agree. Just makes me want to ride with more confidence. It really comes through how confident they all are.
You don't scare me. I ride a MARE!

Without getting to even trot them around the schooling ring, let alone school over a jump before heading into that ring to jump an entire course!
VIP Z should be nominated for Horse of the Year in my opinion. I didn't catch all the scores, but I think a large majority of his scores were in the 90s?

Remember though that this class is not judged like a normal hunter class; the scores are on the presentation of the horse, not the performance and quality of the horse. Not that he's not a nice horse, just that the scores aren't comparable to the scores achieved in other classes at the show.

No, I do know that, and I totally realize that he would not be competitive in the regular hunter division. I just think he's an awesome horse despite the fact that he has a head only a mother could love! The consistency that horse displayed tonight was awesome to watch.

aahem wasn't there a discussion about the right size of a mount for a small kid?
Wouldn't the two girls who went in at the end be better of with a small? At least at a show....

I don't know which riders you're talking about (didn't see them) but it's probably likely that they have a small, too.

Oh god, this announcer/commentator is dreadful. Muted him because I couldn't stand his inane comments.

Was it the same person who was working with Geoff last night? I haven't been near a computer all day.

I missed last night, so not sure... he had a very deep voice and was talking pretty much throughout everyone's course.

Yikes so far!
I do like the wavy blue narrow planks on the vertical just behind the liverpool jump. (ETA: fence 11)

This course is TIGHT and these poor horses despise it.
Need to take out a fence or two or something.

I feel like the riders are acting more as passengers tonight... very loose in the tack.
