Last week, my bo saved a little Arab/quarter mare from the killers. She's fostering her for the winter to get her up to weight again and we are planning a tentative ownership in the spring.
In the mean time, her name is Cajun, She's 14 hands, beautiful bay with cleaner legs than Luna! She was used for rodeos, parades and Gymkhana events until she became non competitive. Then she was left out in the cold.
My girls are going to learn the ups and Downs of ownership over the winter while Cajun puts on weight. She's 20, and it's going to take some work.
I feel good about saving this grand old girl. She's as sweet as can be and wants love.
I will post up pics over the weekend.
Welcome to the family, Cajun!
ps: I'm going to take pics of Cajun and Luna side by side. 17 hh and 14 hh. quite the difference!
